We bought our first sign cutter in June 2000 to do our own race car graphics for our family owned sprint car racing team. It didn’t take long before we started producing a variety of sign products from race car graphics, vehicle car magnets to larger structural signage for businesses.
We kept this pace until 2003 when we began working with a few small political races producing political signs with vinyl. Due to an increase in demand were having to sub out orders and because we were not set up for screen printing at the time. Our political business quickly grew and the company we were partnered with could not keep up with our production as well as their own, so we decided to purchase our first screen printing equipment.
Once the word got out we were printing political signs, our customers began requesting that we print apparel. Although we were not set up for apparel printing, we partnered with another company and they began screen printing our apparel for us. Not long after this, the company was sold to a larger Ad Promo company and we were notified they would no longer offer contract printing. So in the fall of 2004 we decided to purchase apparel printing equipment. We purchased an old 8 color press that was built like a tank that we named him Sherman.
In 2006 we decided it was time to do some equipment updating. We purchased a new 6 color Workhorse manual printing press. In 2009 we purchased our first automatic printing press and what a lifesaver this thing has been. Our production time was cut by more than 70% allowing us to offer faster turn around times and a more consistent product. To give you an idea of how fast some of our production is with this automatic we have produced an order of 2300 shirts in a little less than 6 hours including taking a lunch break, and the press was not even running at full speed. That may not seem like much, but to us country folks in Scott County MS that was flat getting it.
In 2013 it was time to expand again. This time it was back in the sign department. After many years of wanting, praying, wanting and praying, and praying, and praying some more, (did we mention we did a lot of praying) we stepped out on limb and purchased a wide format digital printer, cutter and laminator. We wanted to get back to doing race car graphics and with today’s full color printing market exploding we purchased a Mimaki CJV30 54″ printer backed with a Seal 54″ laminator. We traveled to several dealers across the south looking and researching and we found that this printer was going to be the best bang for our buck. It would do all that we needed and then some. We also decided we were going to venture into the world of vehicle wraps. Chris along with Production Manager Jacob Shirley began enrolling in wrap training classes. To date they have taken classes in Dallas TX, Irving, TX, as well as New Orleans, LA. They are currently working towards several national certifications in vehicle wraps, building wraps, and floor graphics as well as a long list of printing and installation services.
Over the years we have been extremely blessed. We have grown from a desk and table set up in a back bedroom to a large facility. We have customers all across the southeast which include everything and everybody from small athletic teams to US Senators and Congressmen. We have even printed and shipped products to our soldiers fighting for our country in Afghanistan and Iraq.
We value every order no matter how big or small.
